Then write two part essay:
1. One part should summarize the argument presented in the essay: this section should begin with a clear signal phrase, and then state the thesis of the essay. It should then fairly summarize the main parts of the writer’s argument, focusing on the reasoning used by the writer.
2. One part should develop you own critical response to the argument: this section should begin your argument, your response, and then should explain your reasoning in 2-3 organized paragraphs. A “critical response” evaluates and replies to the argument in the article; it is not a personal reaction
3. Be sure to attach a .pdf, of the article, as a separate document, when you submit the Questionnaire for grading
