Epidemiology of Infectious Disease

After completing your analysis of the results, you are preparing to discuss with the school principal how the outbreak occurred and some recommendations for preventing further transmission of Salmonella. 

Your task

Identify the following:

Mode of transmission for Salmonella

Possible reservoirs for this Salmonella outbreak

Discuss possible ways the food may have become contaminated and how the agent was able to increase in numbers high enough to cause an infection.

Make a list of recommendations for preventing further spread of this outbreak and similar outbreaks from occurring in the future.
